27 June 2008 - 18:16Corporate Project: CONEXPO/CON-AGG

We recently finished a piece for the Association of Equipment Manufacturers (AEM), based out of Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Each year AEM hosts CONEXPO/CON-AGG, the world’s largest construction industry exposition show in Las Vegas, NV. The piece centered around focus group group interviews conducted at the show and how the responses could be used to improve the show. We edited the footage, created graphics, titles, and provided voice-over talent for the piece. Check back for a sample!

24 June 2008 - 11:26The Wedding of Megan and John

Last weekend we filmed the wedding of Megan Gadjen and John Miller. The ceremony was held at St. Mary’s of New Albany and the reception was at the Culbertson West. Hard to believe that four years ago we also filmed the wedding of Megan’s sister, Amanda, at the same location!

Below is John and Megan’s Photo Montage that we prepared for their rehearsal dinner. Enjoy!

24 June 2008 - 11:23Live Event: Atlanta Fest 2008

We were also on the road last weekend for Atlanta Fest 2008 at Stone Mountain Park in Atlanta, GA. Working again with our good friends at GodTube.com, we co-produced artist interviews, stage performances, and b-roll. All footage was captured in stunning HD, edited, and uploaded to GodTube.com the same day. Check out the video and photos below. More video here.

10 June 2008 - 17:28The Wedding of Liz and Chris

This past weekend we had the pleasure to shoot the wedding of Liz Gable and Chris Johnson. The ceremony was held at St. Marks United Methodist Church in New Albany, IN, and the reception was held at the Downtown Marriott in Louisville, KY. We started filming around 10am at the Express U Salon in New Albany, IN for Liz’s hair and makeup session. From there we headed over to the church for final preparations and the ceremony. And while the ceremony was great, the reception was spectacular. Produced in coordination with Sounds Unlimited Productions, the reception was broadcast LIVE on two large projection screens tricked out with enough LED lighting to make Bon Jovi’s tour manager jealous. Another great job by the guys at SUP! In addition to the live video feed, we showed their Love Story (filmed back in April) and their Photo Montage. It was visually stunning!

Once again we got to work with photographer Tony Matkey. What else can be said about this guy? He’s fun to work with, takes amazing photos, and his highly recommended. I’m sure he will have photos from this wedding up on his blog very soon.

2 June 2008 - 12:29Promotional Piece: DigiJump

We recently finished the first proof for the DigiJump promotional piece. We always post our finished works, so this time I thought I would post through the proofing phase. Proofing is generally seen only by the client via secure login. But our client was cool with this idea.

At this point, the client is provided an EDL (Edit Decision List) where precise edit decisions and comments are made using the running timecode at the top of the screen. Other remarks are made about length, voiceover talent, graphics, audio tracks, overall objective, etc. We go through as many revisions as necessary to satisfy the client. Keep checking this thread for more updates!

Check out the first proof below:
