Last week we shot the wedding of Niles Heier and Megan Jones.  The ceremony was held at St. Michaels Catholic Church in Bradford, IN with the reception following at KYE’s in Jeffersonville, IN.  Working again with friend and photographer Tony Matkey, we were able to get some great shots.  This was especially true in Ashland Park before the reception – thanks in part to the fantastic weather.  I’m sure Tony will have photos up on his blog very soon so check ‘em out.

Their friends and family wasted no time hitting the dance floor, even with the early evening start (A couple cocktails always seems to do the trick). This was a great wedding and should be fun to edit. Check back for some highlights.

Last week we shot a documentary of Harold Kleinert, MD, a world-renowned hand care physician from Louisville, KY.  The finished piece will be self-narrated mixed with a custom music bed and archived file footage and photos.  Produced entirely in HD, the piece will be shown at the  American Association for Hand Surgery Annual Meeting, September 18-20, 2008 in Chicago, IL.  Check back later for a sample.

I spoke with Michael this week and he asked me if those were real birds chirping in the background?  Absolutely Mike.  No fake birds here.  We used six different live audio sources at their wedding, including the string quartet from Commonwealth Musicians. Watch and listen for yourself!
